Helen Chapman – Graphic Designer

With extensive experience in publishing and design, Helen’s career to date has included a role as Manager and creative lead for the studio at the Weekender Magazine, where she was responsible for two full design revamps as well as overseeing the weekly editorial design and creative execution for all of the products, including a number of speciality and tourist publications. She also spent two years as Creative Team Leader in the advertising and production department of the Sensis publication, The Trading Post.

As a former partner in a boutique Brisbane design agency, Helen has worked with a diverse range of clients across a variety of industries and sectors. From small to big business, State and local government, projects have included clients such as QLD Transport, Vanglobe, St Joseph’s College, Citiworks Townsville and Cancer Council QLD.

Prior to that, she was employed in a creative capacity at Brisbane firm, Spin PR & Marketing (Now Sequel Communications) where she produced material for Ergon Energy, Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) and the Royal Blind Foundation, amongst others.

Aside from her design qualifications and experience, Helen also has a degree in Tertiary Education, and spent a number of years as a design lecturer at AAA – one of the most highly respected advertising colleges in Johannesburg, South Africa.

She’s now bringing these valuable years of experience and creative flair to Fresh PR and Marketing, complementing and expanding on the fresh words and ideas with unique and effective visuals of the highest quality – from brief to concept to execution.
